THE AMY WINEHOUSE BAND, featuring members of the original line-up of Amy Winehouse, regarded by many as the most talented and controversial popular music vocalist in the realms of modern jazz, blues, soul, and 21st-century funk – will perform at the Nišville Jazz Festival on Friday, August 14th, 2026. This performance marks the 15th anniversary of the untimely passing of this creative, original, and extraordinary artist.
THE AMY WINEHOUSE BAND – Amy’s original group – is led by her musical director, bassist, and close friend Dale Davis. Through these performances, Davis pays tribute to the great artist after many years on stage, celebrating her most creative period – an era that once redefined global music and live performance. The band keeps her spirit and legacy alive through a connection that is only possible with such an authentic ensemble.
The band performs alongside exceptional vocalists BRONTE SHANDE and BETH MORRIS, personally selected by Dale Davis. Their performance is a unique audio-visual spectacle that promises an unforgettable experience, as recently proven by sold-out shows worldwide, including South America, Paris, Helsinki, Athens, London, Jakarta, and beyond.
Even 15 years later, Amy ’s musical heritage continues to profoundly influence audiences across the globe. To many, she remains perhaps the greatest female vocalist ever to emerge from the UK - a national and international treasure and the defining artist of her generation.
At the upcoming Nišville Festival on Friday, August 14th, at the Niš Fortress Plateau, the audience will have the opportunity to witness and feel this special, deeply emotional concert. It celebrates Amy’s extraordinary repertoire with the musicians who knew her best – her friends and colleagues who stood by her on stages worldwide and helped create her timeless sound, both on stage and in the studio.
