VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR
"NIŠVILLE JAZZ FESTIVAL 2026"!
Following a long-standing tradition, the Nišville Jazz Festival is launching its 17th consecutive volunteer program for its upcoming 32nd edition, held from August 8th to August 15th, 2026.
Once again, our goal is to provide young people with a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the largest Serbian and European cultural events. Participants can spend a part of their summer in a productive and fun way, fostering personal growth through an active and engaging volunteer program.
Over the past 16 years, since the program's inception in 2010, approximately 4,000 volunteers have been part of the festival. During this period, the volunteer team has brought together youth from over 150 different cities across Serbia and abroad. In 2012, the Nišville volunteer team received the "Empress Constantine" gold coin award from the City of Niš for its exceptional contribution to the promotion and development of culture. Furthermore, in late 2013, the program was named the Best Youth Project of the Year by the National Youth Council of Serbia (KOMS).
Application Details: The call for volunteers is open from Friday, May 1st, to June 30th, 2026. We are looking for 200 young people (aged 15 to 30) to participate in the 10-day program from August 7th to August 16th, 2026. For international volunteers, the core engagement is planned from August 13th to August 16th.
Nišville Jazz Festival invites all interested candidates from Serbia and abroad to apply and contribute to the realization of this significant cultural event.
Volunteer Sectors: The volunteer team will be divided into 10 specialized sectors::
Audience Host - Welcoming the audience, checking tickets, exchanging tickets for wristbands, and guiding visitors within the main festival area.
Artist Liaison - Taking care of musicians during their stay in Niš, providing logistics support, and escorting performers to stages, accommodation, the press center, and workshops.
Marketing - Branding activities for the festival and its sponsors, including setting up advertisements and managing promotional booths.
Press - Activities related to the organization and operation of the festival's press service.
Technical Support - Assisting with stage preparation and technical execution at the main stages and all other festival venues.
Logistics - Support during the preparation and realization of side programs and activities within the central festival space.
Workshop - Organizing the space and assisting participants in festival workshops and the educational matinee program.
Security - Assisting professional security services across all festival locations.
Catering - Delivering food and beverages to performers, technical staff, and volunteers at all locations.
Social Networks - Promoting the festival program and atmosphere across social media platforms.
