Nišville celebrates World Roma Day

Weekend concert at the Fortress

Tomorrow (Saturday, April 8) at 1 PM, in front of the Nišville Jazz Museum at the Fortress, Nišville Jazz Festival is organizing a concert to mark World Roma Day. The beginning is announced for 1:00 PM. Young musicians of Roma and non-Roma nationalities will perform a program composed of traditional Roma music compositions, including those from Šaban Bajramović’s opus, combined with jazz expression. The concert is also part of the “ROMAJAM” project (Roma Jamming) that Nišville independently implements with the support of the EU program “MusicAIRE” (An innovative recovery for Europe). In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Nišville Jazz Museum.
