TEMPTATION O F THE FRESH VOLUPTUOUSis performed with vocal art and live original music as a trilogy of songlines for sky and sea. In a series of eclipses, the sky has gone black, the ground is toxic, and natural bodies of water have been recycled into

gaudy plastic trash. A survivor interrogates the darkest evil, searching for a beloved rose of infinity.

About Theater

Little Theater “Dusko Radovic” is located at the current address since June 6, 1968, when he moved in to the first purpose-built children’s theater building in Yugoslavia. The opening of the new theater house for children and youth has been a place of nomading  Belgrade Puppet Theater. Using many forms in by puppets, Ginjo, to depict, puppets on sticks, theater of shadows, masks, black theater, abstraction, confrontation puppets and actors as living partners, allow the cultivation of different genres, and the theater brought a great reputation in many countries across Europe .

Book of wandering

It is an intimate dance spectacle synergy of recognizable elements such as human, animal and surreal creatures, an impression intertwining of phenomena and identities. These metamorphoses are related to continual shifts of energy, seasons, birth and death.

Wandering is what lies in between: how a seed grows into a plant? How clouds form rain? What stages of development living things go? Wandering, in this case, is the goal. It researches wandering, morphing, arrival, departures, search, surrender – through various writings, fairy tales, and intimate experiences of performers.

Nusic Triptych

 

Nusic Triptych, performed by IUI Transition Dance Company within the Belgrade Dance Institute, and choreographed by the most distinguished and respectable Serbian and European choreographers, Isidora Stanisic (Serbia) and Maciej Kuźmiński (Poland), starts at 8.30 pm.

Nusic Triptych project is composed of three contemporary dance choreographies, which represent the artists’ effort to transform Branislav Nusic’s dramatic text into contemporary performing arts.

Guided by the topics that Branislav Nusic, one of the most brilliant comediographers, dealt with in his own work in a unique way, the choreographers have examined the common relationships in contemporary society, petty-bourgeois spirit, amorality and lies, corruption, greed, kitsch, rigidity and insecure life conditions. Each choreographer has explored an adequate stage expression and a dance vocabulary that communicates most directly with the paradox of the contemporary world and points out the universality of the topics that Nusic approached in his works.

The dancers presenting to the audience in all three performances are: Andreja Simic, Maja Markovic, Katarina Stojkovic, Mila Stijak, Katarina Bucic, Branko Mitrovic, Marija Vucenovic, Vladimir Cubrilo and Tamara Pjevic (alternations: Ana Obradovic, Boris Vidakovic i Nikolina Milosevic).

The project was supported by Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, National Theatre in Belgrade, Ohrid Summer Festival, Nisville Jazz Festival and BELEF.
